Account Deletion Policy

Effective Date: 1 April 2026

1. Your Right to Delete

PasspoPet respects your right to control your personal data. You may delete your account and permanently remove all associated data at any time, without restriction. This policy explains exactly what is deleted, how to request deletion, and what happens afterwards.

This capability is required by Apple for all apps that support user accounts, and we support it fully and without conditions.

2. What Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems:

  • Your user profile — name, email address, phone number, and country
  • All pet profiles — including breed, species, gender, date of birth, and colour
  • All official document records — microchip IDs, vet passport information
  • All vaccination records and health events
  • All uploaded photos and document files
  • Any shared pet access links and co-owner associations
  • Your account credentials and authentication tokens
  • All cloud backups associated with your account

3. What Is Not Deleted

  • Anonymised technical logs — Non-personal, aggregated diagnostic data may be retained for up to 90 days for stability and performance analysis. This data cannot be linked to you.
  • Payment records — Apple retains records of in-app purchases in accordance with their own policies. PasspoPet does not store payment data.
  • Legal obligations — Where we are required by law to retain specific data, we will do so for the minimum period required.

4. How to Delete Your Account

Option 1 — In-App (Recommended)

Open PasspoPet and navigate to: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Follow the on-screen confirmation steps. Deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation.

Option 2 — Email Request

Send a deletion request to support@annave.tech from the email address associated with your account. Include the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Our team will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 days, sending a confirmation email once complete.

5. Processing Time

  • In-app deletion — Account and all primary data are removed immediately. Residual backup data is purged within 7 days.
  • Email request — We will confirm receipt within 48 hours and complete deletion within 7 days.

6. Before You Delete

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Before proceeding, we recommend:

  • Exporting your pet's health report as a PDF (via the in-app export feature) for your personal records
  • Noting any microchip IDs or vaccination dates you may need in the future
  • Informing any co-owners or shared users, as their access will also be removed

7. Shared Profiles

If you have shared pet profiles with other users:

  • Deleting your account will remove access for all co-owners and shared users.
  • If you are a co-owner (not the original creator), your access is removed but the profile remains for the primary owner.
